Atherogenesis

which in turn releases more arachidonic cascade eicosanoids, Besides stimulating aggregation, platelets, clotting and so on, leading to atheroma and vascular occlusion.
If no injury Endothelial, but induced oxidative elevated blood levels of lipids, a similar cycle occurs. The oxidized LDL is trapped by the monocytes into macrophages, that accumulate in the vessel wall that causes free radical damage, foam cell formation, calcium deposition and inflammation. BACKGROUND PREVENTION
A change in diet, such as oxidized fats are reduced, reducing saturated fats, omega-6 is reduced (in Western societies) and omega-3 and omega-9 rich foods are increasing, which could lead to a healthy recovery in the vessel wall. Prostaglandins formed by omega-3 and omega-9 oils to create opposite effects on vessel constriction, forming a clot effects of omega-6 as they compete for the same enzyme system. ASPIRIN

Thus, the net effect is inhibition of coagulation. (See fig. 19)

However, aspirin is a bandage. It does not address the root, which is reprehensible food. It is not safe because it can trigger allergic reactions such as asthma by shunting arachidonic acid lipoxygenase and leukotriene pathway may actually increase clotting of platelets when administered in conjunction with fish oils.11

These nutrients are supplied in a varied diet of whole foods first.
